FNM News for January (Not the card)

Just a quick note to you all that as of January WOTC is giving 4 FNM promos out each week instead of 3. The exact details of what the 4th will be for is unknown as of yet. This information was given out in paperwork associated with release event sponsorship.
Just food for thought.

I think he meant: On one friday tourney 3 of the current FNM promo cards are given to participants.
(At our shop 1 to the winner and 2 are raffled.)

Exactly, just becoming more common. Our shop does the same 1 to 1st and 2 at Random. We don't know for sure what WOTC will want us to do with the 4th promo. They continued to say that the FNM cards would be "more playable". Who knows what that means.

Hi there
I am a TO for FNMs in Germany and in a letter I received yesterday from the german distributor Amigo-Spiele they state, that two cards should be given at random and two cards are for the top two players.

This information was actually first released on the newsletter in the Unhinged release tourney kit.
I'm thinking this'll make it easier for judges and TO's to trade for playsets of the new foilies.
