So what other CCG's did everyone play and/or collect at one time or another? I still have the first 3 sets of Battletech (which I thought was a pretty cool game system as I played and collected), first 3 sets of Star Wars (Decipher and collecting only), and I bought a bit of Shadowrun to try it out (it kind of sucked). M:TG is the only one I am still active with though.

Guardians (love the art!!) and the first series of Galactic Empires. Also bought a random box of old boosters from dead card games, including everway fantasy art cards and sim city and stuff, only collected Guardians and Galactic Empires though.
And well... I have bought and played Doomtrooper and Pokemon ( ) too.
Overall, magic beats them all though, but Guardian is very nice. I think I would rather play Guardians than magic, now with all newer sets and abilities...
Magic just isn't as fun playing as it was around 4th/homelands/ice age anymore.

Guardians was a game that I bought a bunch of cards for, but couldn't talk any of my friends into playing.
I Played Doomtown a few times with some friends, but right after that was when all of the "first turn win" decks started popping up and the game kind of collapsed.

I really like shadowfist. Also, the guardian cards are beautiful. I also like the game (not a ccg) lunch money, chrononauts, and chez geek (i haven't played it, but some guy I play shadowfist with invented the game).
I played V:tes once, but didn't really get it. I'd try it again though.
Oh, and the new marvel game is pretty fun.

As far a non-CCGs go, all the John Kovalic games are fun. Killer Bunnies is fun (I played this only one afternoon). I LOVE Nuclear War.

As far as non-collectible card games go, I played Lunch Money for a while - it's a really fun game. And I play Fluxx whenever I get the chance to.

Fluxx is a really fun, fast paced game. It's best with 4-6 players. The way the game is designed, the rules are always changing. There's really not a whole lot of strategy to the game because everything changes so much. However, if you like games where part of the fun is screwing up your opponents' strategies, than you'll probably like Fluxx.

This is the page for the game itself. They do a really good job of explaining everything.

misterpid: Sounds very interesting. The Killer Bunnies game I played was very all over the place with wild game play like Fluxx is.

Many years ago I bought a few packs of Wing Commander and Monty Python. Both games are decent but there's nobody to play with. WC seems better designed but MP is much funnier.
