Collection Goal reached!

I am proud to finally have overcome the hardest part of my collection goals. I started 9 years ago working on completing mint sets from every US released expansion. I now have pack-mint sets, assembled one card at a time by me (not sets were pre-bought) of all the sets:

You haven't heard of these before as they are future M:TG promo cards according to some undisclosed sources. As far as the Sapphire being in my binder, no I have it here with me at work all safe and sound. I leave work here in a little over an hour and will put the card in my binder then. As far as the spot is concenred, you are correct it is there, but it is a print flaw and not damage of any sort. Alpha and Beta often had small print dots, circles, etc. This is also why I used the term pack-mint which means devoid of damage to the card from handling, storage, play, etc. This is actually my only power 9 from ABU that has any such mark, but I am still very happy with the card.

Alright!! Avalanche Riders - another Red card and Treetop Village - a long time since a Land card came out - discounting the Arena lands and the Wasteland.
Mintcollector - you say that this info came from a source, are you able to say in the least if any of these are coming out this year or next year, or approx when can maybe expect to see them appear?
oops, edit. My apologies Mintcollector. I also meant to say congrats! That must have been a very time consuming collection for you to reach. I would bet it feels really good to have obtained your goal! Life, and collecting, will be so much easier, now that you only have the current items to collect.

silver.paladin: Thanks for the praise. I will only state that the 4 cards will be coming out in the future (plus the foil DCI Balance which everyone glosses over). These cards have been on my About Me page for weeks by the way.

Mike - Great job, but what are you going after next? It's no fun unless there's the thrill of the hunt. Just getting the new stuff as it comes out seems a little too tame for you.

I was thinking about that, but I already spent 2 hours on the phone with Ralph talking about future collecting needs which spawned into a great new project idea I am looking into pursuing (TBA).

yeah, collect a mint set again, but this time have the cards still in the packs. That'd be a toughie, but impressive.

Know Ralph...sort of only by email and phone. Although I have considered visiting a friend of mine who now lives in Germany. Ralph is only a couple hours away so if I make the visit to my friend Andy, I may try to meet Ralph (finally in person).
