I like it because it's already beat up, so I don't have to worry about keeping it looking nice. I can pull it out and shuffle it, and watch people start to whimper :) The most valuable card in this deck is a beta fork. |

Or perhaps my 4 Coalition Victories, with tally marks for each time I win with them. Fun times. But I'd have to say that my favorite card in my collection is this card (http://home.comcast.net/~flatmatt/other/notmarked.jpg). It was contributed by one of my friends as part of the prize from the reject rare draft my we did after Mark Gottlieb's article (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/daily/mg72) on the format. One of the best times I've had with this game. By the way, the card is a Defiling Tears. |

But in terms of card numbers, not too much more common than a lotus in terms of numbers. I would also like to see misprints on things like Vanguard Cards or 6x9... imagine one of those with 2 halves of different cards on it!! Maybe a card with 2 of the magic backs :-) |

That is a prized posession because of the work involved, I guess. But, to narrow it down, I own an Alpha playtest/ LD/ gamma card deck. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/258 That link explains it, & I own the bottom 2 cards in the article. Also included in the deck are an Ancestral Recall, & Starburst- a red Time Walk. It says "opponent loses their next turn". There's a Goblin card w/ a zany photocopy of Garfield's face too. Other funny & amusing cards. And lastly, I collect Frozen Shades, & there is one in that deck....a big selling point. I started asking questions online about it a while back, & was referred to this Forum, that's how I ended up here. |

I put it together in over the course of one year by saving every cent I could and doing extra work for anyone who would pay me. It was right at the beginning of the explosion in Type 1's popularity, just before the prices on beta power really started rising. It was also the year I got engaged to my wife, who played a big roll in me getting them all. How many wifes/girlfriends out there would actually encourage you to spend $400 on cardboard, and be willing to sacrifice going out to nice restaraunts so you can do it? |

I always play it when I play blue in a tourney #3: The extra Dark Laquatus Champion. I donīt know how many there are existing but I think itīs pretty rare #4: An asian Foil W.Mongrel signed and altered by Anthony Waters at GP Prague. It was a really nice conversation with him there and I like thinking back at it. #5: An Unglued Swamp signed and altered (a Dragon on it) by Mark Zug #6: A Wyvern Back FE card - I always wanted one and now I got it Thatīs it guys |

The Charlie Brown Medallion will not show up on a scan. Take a Sapphire Medallion & get a glare on it & look at the top right corner, There is a simple illustration of Charlie brown's head & part of his body. Seriously. It is very hard to describe, too bad I don't know of an easy way to show you. Your yellow Snowman sounds like it is similar to what I have. I've seen various "stages" of the miscoloring of the Ice Age cards, some are pretty funky. I also am getting from my friend his Candelabra that has a completely different color scheme on the back, looks all psychadelic. I'll have to scan that beauty when I get it. I know I'll be asking a boatload of questions once I get his misprints. |

When someone told me, I had a good laugh. I then was shown one, & got an even bigger laugh. So, any time i see one in a binder, I take it out to carefully examine it. I haven't found a CB by chance yet, but rarely do I even see a Medallion of any kind in anyones binder. Either way, showing it off always freaks people out. I flat out tell them what it is, they think I'm joking, & I show 'em. The response is always worth it. If I ever sell it, I'll put a link on this site. I'll make thousands ;D |

(No, they're not worth anything anymore.) Lots of old photos, especially of me dressed up like the character from Natural Selection. Copies of Issue #10 of xXxenophile.
