As I understand it, "proof" is moot anyway because it's not possible for a filler (foil to boot) to be printed on the back of a normal card.
The flaming is justified because I've seen better spoofs coming to me for approval from the 14 year olds at MiseTings.

But if he has a picture of him holding it in front of a mirror (the only proof possible, other than sending it to a member for verification), then that is proof isn't it? *anything* is possible, we should have learned that by now.

You're right, anything is possible. It's just that this is so horrendously unlikely, I think the chances of me getting back to back Royal Flushes in Caribbean Stud Poker are better than the chance of this being real.
@AFI: I invite you to prove that this thing is real. Please do as Celebrindor asked. Thank you.

I guess it's theoretically possible. But it's so unlikely that it's near impossible to think it could have happened. It would have to be printed on a sheet that was accidentally foiled on both sides. Then you need that sheet to have accidentally been printed with that filler pattern on the back, which would mean that the front of the sheet got printed on both sides. Then, this card would have had to somehow make it through quality control.
All in all, I find it highly unbelievable. We have never seen a card with both sides foiled, and to have the first be a chase rare and a filler card, too?

yeah, but if they hold the card and curl it in their hand it is more difficult to shop. Also, video is good.

Mail it with insurance to Ralph Harold (make sure you give him heads up...). You can trust him to keep it safe and in good shape. Let him inspect it.
There are several very honerable collectors on this forum. I'm sure that at least one of them would be willing to help you prove that it's real.
(ps do not mail to dry_cereal)

I am surely one of those honorable people. Not to mention I would offer 250 if it is real.
