I can say with confidence that there is alot more than 10 mil english P3K released in the world.
It was widely distributed in my country (New Zealand) and one can assume Australia as well since its our nearest habitable country.
What about places such as: South America, Africa

That $599 auction was a Chinese set which was far more widely distributed. It was also a buy-it-now, and I suspect the buyer didn't fully realize what they were getting (the last Chinese set sold at auction went for $350). I doubt you'll be able to find a near mint English set under $700 anywhere. |

The $599.00 i was talking about was the last set i saw sold at this store near my house.
But it was a couple of months ago.
When i bought my set (2003) they were $300.00.

Hi.
P3K was normally Only distributed in Asia,I wonder if it was intended to Oceania But since Australia and New Zealand are very close from Asia, maybe some Sellers brought them over there.

Australia and New Zealand were the only official distribution areas for the English product. Being Portal I have a bad feeling that the rate of destruction and loss of these cards was quite high. I've seen exactly two played P3K cards on the market, which makes me think that unless prices and awareness increase tremendously, most of the cards are probably lost.
Alexis, what I said about the print run is not serious info, it is rumor only, as I said. I have been trying for months to find real information, and it just doesn't seem to be available, even from people I talk to at Wizards. Nobody has any idea how much P3K is out there, unless the above-posted "more than 10 million" has significant factual basis.
