Title: Value: Fat Pack Items Post by van8888 on Sep 3rd, 2004, 2:15pm Ralph and I are trying to collect a complete set of those spindown dice that come in the fatpacks. However, no one has any of them, so I plan to buy a large amount of fat packs, and resell the rest of the contents. So, I have a few questions: 1.) Should I sell the booster unopened, or open them and sell singles? 2.) Is there any market for the checklist? 3.) Is there any market for the books? Thanks |

Title: Re: Value: Fat Pack Items Post by rg on Sep 3rd, 2004, 2:59pm 1.) Same consideration as for every booster. Nothing special about those included in a fat pack. 2.) I don't think one can call it a market. You can get them usually for 0.50 to 2. Only some rarer (older) go for more. 3.) I watched them going for ~$2-$4. Mostly they are sold in little collections. Let me know if you have some, i have some friends who are looking for some of the books so maybe they 'll buy some. |

Title: Re: Value: Fat Pack Items Post by AXIOS on Sep 4th, 2004, 11:08am i'm interested in the books |

Title: Re: Value: Fat Pack Items Post by van8888 on Sep 4th, 2004, 9:01pm Cizzio: sounds fine to me. I will be able to get (probably many, many, many copies) of all but Invasion - there were no dice in the Invasion fat pack, so I will not be purchasing any. AXIOS - Muldoon also wants them, but again, I will have enough copies for both of you (and more). If anyone wants sealed booster packs, or sealed foil cards (the random ones that come in fat packs), let me know - it'll be easier than eBay. |

Pay for postage and I'll send you all the books. They're just collecting dust and I have no interest in reading them. |
