StarCityGames is one of the best Magic strategy websites on the internet, featuring articles about deckbuilding, playing, and drafting, mostly written by well-known Magic players, tournament-related news, and deck archives. Founded in 1994 by Pete Hoefling, it is also an online store specializing in Magic cards and accessories and a Premiere Event Organizer for Wizards of the Coast and Upperdeck located in Virginia, USA.

In December 2003, StarCityGames released a series of 18 different token cards, primarily for use with Magic: The Gathering. The cards are fully laminated and feature artwork from a purposely unnamed artist, covering the whole front of the card, while the token type is listed on the backside. The tokens have been available for individual sale.
