Isn't it, that when you send a card to PSA, that you have to tell them from which set the card is?
If so, then the person who got this card PSAed is the stupidest person i've ever seen!!

At least PSA is consistant in being clueless about summer magic (unless they now drop the date from regular revised cards they grade). It makes me feel that much more confident about all their other grading abilities.
Despite my less-than-stellar review of PSA, the fact that this card has come back with that high a grade means that anyone bidding on the card will have to be quite generous if they want to bring it home. Anyone want to venture what the winning bid will be?
I'm sooooo.... happy that I'm not collecting summer magic!

Summer cards USED to come back as "Revised", now they send them back ungraded as errors. Thus, this is apparently the only one that got graded.

I think the PSA grade on a card like this is just a rather pathetic attempt to score more money for it, an 8 is like any NM card in my eyes, why are you all thinking it's gonna go higher because of the plastic case around it? It doesn't truly confirm that the card is authentic, and it only confirms that it's NM, so what's the real deal with it?
A person would have to be a real nut to pay more for a PSA 8 hurricane than an ungraded NM-M one...
I'm guessing 2500-3000 end price for this.

I have to agree with both Muldoon and Fzappa above me. I think it is crazy that anyone would pay a premium for this card, since it is only graded an 8 - but, as it is currently the only summer hurricane that is graded, there may be the one or two oddball collectors out there that are completists, and will want this.
