Does anyone know how many were included in the total print run? To have a 'whole print run' stolen seems like an exhorbidant amount of cards to just shove in your briefcase on a friday afternoon...

I was wondering that myself. I would have to think the print run of FNM cards is (3 given away each week x 4 weeks x 500? stores) 6000 or more - definately more *now* - they give away 4 a week.

If anything, the printrun is more than my estimate. Start with the basic assumption that each store gets 16 per month (4 cards each week, 4 weeks). Now, this month, they'd get 20 cards because there are 5 Fridays in the month. I estimated 200 stores doing FNM, but that is far too low - i stopped counting at 250 stores in the US alone. I would tend to agree that there aren't many people like me trying to collect all of them, but I would suggest that there are a lot more than those who visit this site. Other people hoard them for trading, and others still get playsets for decks. Less serious players who only win occasionally (or play occasionally, for that matter) just keep the ones they win because they won.
