Hi,
I'm building a collection of Lord of the Pit cards and am looking to complete my set.
I still need these:
German
Rev (wb, 1995)
Korean
5th (wb, 1997)
(non official sets
English the summer 4th version (the UV one)
(and the real summer...... )
I hope some members have acces to those cards.
Please let me know if you do, we can work something out

I will have to check on some of them at home. The harder ones to get are the WB ones. I mean who keeps track of foreign WB?

I don't get it ...
Am I wrong but you have already got that Revised WB 1995 german one ... do you need another ?
If so I can get you 4th+5th, I suppose.

I was assuming that that one was a 4th edition one. (they have the same copyright date).
This actually brings up a tangent I was wondering. With the three languages that have both WB Revised and 4th edition in the same year (1995), how do you tell them apart easily?

The thing is when 4th and 5th are almost identical the dots over the "i" is slanted in one version and round in the other.
For example look at the "i"s on the french Lords.
Also when looking at the text layout of the card itself the BB and the WB rev one are almost identical. The 4th wb one with the same date as the rev wb one have different layouts. This is the case with the french, spanish, italian and portugeese versions. (i need to update my scans i see....)
in conclusion i believe the rev wb german one has the same layout as the BB version but with the date of the 4th one (1995)
Please let me know if u have any of those.

Hi Peter,
good news!
I was able to trade for a NM+ FBB Italian Lord of the Pit yesterday, and would gladly send it to you for 8 euros + shipping.
That would be 9 euros for regular airmail, or 12 for registered.
Lmk if you're interested and I'll provide you with a link to my refs.
You could easily pay to my verified Paypal account.
Thanks!

pder: I can offer you a German 5th Edition Lord of the Pit.
Gryfalia: The white-bordered Revised Edition and the 4th Edition in these three languages is very hard to distinguish. As pder already pointed out, there is the difference in the letter "i" of the card title, but aside from that, you merely have hints. Allen Densen started a project to distinguish the cards which you can see here: http://members.rogers.com/allendensen/cards/magic/info/revv4.htm

Dear members,
I've tried to look for clues on how to obtain Lord of the Pit artistproofs. For the wizards dot com site i found a link to the "personal" website of Mark Tedin. However it has not been updated for something of 1,5 years. (send a mail nevertheless).
Does anybody know of the existence of another website of email adres of Mark?
Any help is highly appeciated.
Peter

Collectmart has a german "4th" one, it might be the RV version if they're not really into telling them apart... Could be worth a shot?
