With the interest of adding to the site, I cracked 4 topdeck vol 2 iss 3's. They are the ones that come with the free nemesis booster pack.
not each pack is the same, but there are some annoying similarities. Below is a list of what each pack had, and in what order, from top card to bottom.
pack 1 WOC06088
submerge
rejuvenation chamber
Cheiftan en-dal
Murderous Betrayal
Rootwater commando
Flowstone Wall
Belbe's Percher
Reverent Silence
Bola Warrior
Vicious hunger
silkenfist fighter
mind swords
off balance
wandering eye
flowstone strike
PACK 2 -- WOC 06088
flowstone thopter
angelic favor
mogg alarm
avenger en-dal
defiant falcon
daze
downhill charge
skyshroud cutter
seal of fire
treetop bracers
phyrexian driver
lightbringer
infiltrate
defender en-vec
seal of removal
PACK 3 -- WOC06088
flint golem
ensnare
rupture
rising waters
vicious hunger
silkenfist fighter
spiteful bully *FOIL*
mind swords
off balance
laccolith grunt
skyshroud sentinel
fanatical devotion
oraxid
skyshroud cutter
parallax dementia
(note, have opened maybe 7 packs or so altogether, this is the only foil I have ever found)
PACK 4 -- WOC06088
rusting golem
woodripper
dark triumph
tangle wire
rootwater commando
skyshroud ridgeback
fanatical devotion
flowstone wall
belbe's Percher
stronghold discipline
cloudskate
reverent silence
bola warrior
netter en-dal
flowstone crusher
Are runs of commons like this to be expected in packs?
The reason I suspected something fishy with these packs is because the first two I opened a while ago had similar, if not identical, common runs.
Any thoughts?

dry_cereal: Thanks for the research. The cards look random to me, and the WOC number is identical to regular Nemesis boosters, so our booster collectors can relax.
By the way, could you please tell me the total issue number of the magazine (issue XX rather than volume 2 issue 3)?

its March 2000. Says No. 4, which makes no sense.

dry_cereal: Thank you for the info. Can I buy one copy of this issue from you? My version is not in a state I would like it to be in.
As for the number, which problem do you have? This just means that it is the fourth issue of TopDeck in total.

dry_cereal: This is easy to understand. If a magazine debuts near the end of a year, the first volume (=year) will be small. By the way, what about my offer? I would like to have one of your magazines.
