I've seen this art once before and been meaning to buy it for some time, but haven't gotten around to doing so... I will email the seller, I can currently not complete the stupid immediate payment via paypal Is it too much to ask, for you other guys to leave it alone?
Will have to ask him to relist it without immediate payment required...
EDIT: He has cathedral of serra for sale too
EDIT2: He has both of the Storm Shaman original arts too

I'm surprised...i mean, it's not the most exciting picture ever, but it's rare to be able to get a piece of magic history for under $300...

Yeah. I kinda went through a rabid art-buying phase about 3 months ago, and the average seems to be about $500 for so-so artwork, and $1000-$2000 for good stuff from artists like Post and Zug.
I was shocked to find that the cheapest art around was Rebecca Guay - there was one web site (cardhaus I think?) that had two of her pieces for under $150!!! Sure, it was enslaved scout and tectonic break, but for all of the rabid fans of hers, I was surprised they weren't more expensive.
I ended up with 3 - Ron Spencer's Might of Oaks, Ian Miller's Horrible Hordes (my all-time favorite art - had to track it down in a wherehouse in New Jersey through his agent) and Acridian from RK post (not my favorite of his, but it was all i could afford from him).
I just think that after you have every card, the next step up is to get the actual art piece - there is only 1 of those, after all!

I think the coolest thing about original art is that there is a sense of uniqueness. Even with something as rare as Summer Magic, there are still hundreds of copies; the one in your binder is but a drop in the ocean. Its kind of like the anti-misprint: There isn't any more detail to see, this is the master from which all copies were made.

I love the original art. The only piece I currently have is the Fifth Dawn Etched Oracle from Matt Cavotta.
I have noticed a very large range at which the art will sell. Pieces from Brom are in the $1000s, whereas pieces of an equal size from another artist can be as low as $250.
I'd love to get the original Serra art or some of the land murals from the last couple sets.
