TIP CARD
WHAT YOU DO IN A TURN Play a Land: Untap your tapped cards, draw a card from your deck, then play a land from your hand (if you have one). Attack: Attack with some or all of your creatures if you want to. (You don't have to attack.) Tap the creatures you use to attack. Then the defending player chooses which of his or her untapped creatures will block and which of your attackers they'll block. (The defending player doesn't have to block.) Ground creatures can't block flying creatures. Each blocked attacker fights the creatures that block it, and each attacker that isn't blocked deals damage to your opponent. Play Creatures: Play creatures from your hand, tapping lands to pay for each one as determined by its cost. TIP CARD ATTACKING Your attacking creatures attack your opponent, not your opponent's creatures. You can't choose which of your attacking creatures wil be blocked, if any. BLOCKING You choose which attacking creatures your blocking creatures will block, if any. Ground creatures can't block flying creatures. More than one blocking creature can block a single attacker. |
