Its a Trade Paperback book. Kind of like a cartoon book. Comics have used this format for a number of years, and if memory serves correctly, this is a comic (which is also the main item of Dark Horse).
Sounds to me, that this is the comic version of Storm and Rath.

Trade PaperBack (TPB) is the correct term. In this case it is a compliation of the four individual MtG comics published by Dark Horse in a single issue. You can also find these for the Ice Age, Shadow Mage, and Fallen Empires series of MtG comics by Acclaim.
