little red flag on old starter decks

Hello Everyone,
I was just wondering, what is the little red flag, on the starter boxes of Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, and Revised? I have noticed it on the boxes... and it isn't marked. Is it a symbol by the makers? A copyright? A symbol for shipping? What? Hehe.
Regards,
Dylan I.

The original starter packs all were made to look like an old book. The red flag is the bookmark between the pages.

No, I'm not the owner (you're thinking of Michigan Game Corporation)... but I will be there at the Detroit prerelease, for sure. I'll be running around making sure everything runs smoothly .

If you are talking about the Darksteel pre-release, it is Jan 24-25.
