different Multiverse contents

I have been told that someone opened his two Multiverse Visions boosters only to find the Necrosavant missing, replaced by a Lightning Clouda. From the past I know there were rumors about different Multiverse packagings, but nothing concrete. I wish to solve this riddle now with your help. Please check your exact contents of the boosters.
Here is what the person who contacted me pulled out of his boosters:
2 x Gossamer Chains
2 x Jamuraan Lion
1 x Peace Talks
1 x Warrior's Honor
1 x Knight of the Mists
1 x Ovinomancer
2 x Shrieking Drake
1 x Undo
1 x Dark Privilege
2 x Urborg Mindsucker
1 x Vampirism
1 x Wicked Reward
1 x Goblin Recruiter
1 x Lightning Cloud
2 x Rock Slide
2 x Talruum Champion
1 x Viashino Sandstalker
1 x Bull Elephant
2 x Feral instinct
1 x Giant Caterpillar
1 x King Cheetah
1 x Tempest Drake
1 x Undiscovered Paradise
Here is the list of contents of my Multiverse Visions boosters:
2 x Gossamer Chains
1 x Jamuraan Lion
1 x Peace Talks
2 x Warrior's Honor
1 x Ovinomancer
2 x Knight of the Mists
1 x Shrieking Drake
1 x Undo
2 x Dark Privilege
1 x Nedrosavant
1 x Urborg Mindsucker
1 x Vampirism
1 x Wicked Reward
1 x Goblin Recuiter
1 x Rock Slide
2 x Talruum Champion
1 x Viashino Sandstalker
2 x Bull Elephant
2 x Feral Instinct
1 x Giant Caterpillar
1 x King Cheetah
1 x Tempest Drake
1 x Undiscovered Paradise
Please compare these lists with your contents and report differences. In addition, if anybody of you has a Lightning Cloud, please compare whether it is *absolutely* identical to a standard Visions Lightning Cloud in terms of image cropping and text formatting. Thanks.

I don't remember vey much about the uncommons and commons from the Multiverse set, but I think that they were all relatively constant between 4 different packs. There were four rares that you could pull total and each box only contained two packs. I remeber this because I bought two boxes when it came out trying to get all the rares. I ended up not getting the Necrosavant at the time, but I did get two Undiscovered Paradise, one Lichenthrope, and one Lightning Cloud. As far as I can tell, the Lightning Cloud looks the same, but my Lichenthrope is a little pale in comparison to the ones from the pack.

I know the difference is not very impressive.

Monkeymadness speaks the truth.
I remember buying multiple boxes in order to get the rares (and I liked the boxes). Couldn't tell you about the other card mixes though since I sorted everything in with my other cards. I've been meaning to go back and look at my visions cards to pull out the variations. But I know I bought 5 boxes all said.

My Multiverse cards have long since been mixed in with the rest of my cards, but I do know that I have never owned a Lightning Cloud nor a Lichentrope, so I guess my rares were Necrosavant and Undiscovered Paradise. I think I got 2 Ovinomancers and 2 Peace Talks, but could be wrong. That's about all I remember.

I had bought a Multiverse set back when they first came out, didn't notice anything "special" and those card got mixed into my backstock. After finding out that the cards indeed were special, I watched Multiverse sets going for sale. After getting outbid on a Dutch auction of these, I contacted the buyer to see if I could get the Visions off of him. He replied that he bought them as he wanted to draft Visions with his friends. I told him that the packs were special as far as wording of the cards, and offered to replace his packs 2 for 1 if he would give them to me. He gladly accepted. Out of those cards I pulled, only the 10 cards listed under the Multiverse section showed to be different. So I guess I got a "normal" set the the second time.

Thanks folks, I was the one who originally contact Ralph about this. So clearly if I want the necrosavant I'll have to buy another multiverse box or find the specific card.
Multiverse boxes are getting expensive... maybe another time.

What's a good price (in US$) for a sealed Multiverse set?

I would say $20-$25 is a reasonable price to pay.
