Well I'm not about to risk my only bank account by giving PayPal access to it.
Though actually when I started posting that I also thought that I didn't have the necessary 20 MOTL refs.

He does respond to email and he is on a couple times a day. He is prompt and very easy to deal with. He should send an email to your email account.

$30 for a common, is that really the going rate for summers ? yikes.
I would think most of them would only be of interest to pure collectors, but I guess it's all supply and demand...
I thought rare would maybe cost $15-25, sure, but not commons. Maybe I'm just naive

They've been going up. Better commons go for more. As a matter of fact, except for CoPs and crap like that, you can't get them for $30.

I wish I had that kind of extra cash. If I did, I think more "power" would be a better investment.
Who is out there that would pay 1,400 for a dual?? I mean really.

Who out there would pay ~$800 in card value for a summer dragon whelp, including "power"?
Some cards are just worth it to people, even if the price is quite intimidating for someone who isn't into it...
I've been looking for a summer whelp for a little over a year, and this is the first one that came up. Of course I would grab it, even if the cost was a few hundred more than I would like...

I guess I can understand that, however, would you keep getting them, or would you be happy to just get the one?
I notice that most people here that collect all of one card usually pick one that is crap/cheap/easy to collect. Are there people that would collect "good" cards like duals or moats or birds of paridise, and want to get all varriations?
I have heard of people wanting to "pimp" out their decks, but that could be a small fortune, no?

When we started our Alpha print-run collection race, I chose Conversion because I liked it, AND it was cheap. When it comes to 'pimping out' my decks, i foil them, and it does get very expensive. I would certainly pay 1400 for a summer dual if I had it, I need a complete set.

WOW, when I said in another thread, "some of you guys are more nuts about magic than I am", it was truer than I knew. lol
I had better watch what I say, I did not want to collect foreign promos or all the colors of spindowns before talking to you guys. oy!!
You guys are going to "inadvertently" make me spend lots more on my personal collections. Damn!!

I guess I''m a lucky one. I haven't caught the summer magic bug, although I would have if I wasn't shut out of the MOTL offering. Most of the other items I want aren't overly expensive, just impossible to find. Which means I can go and upgrade the condition of all my sets of regular releases.
